Local Restaurant Collecting Donations For Hurricane Victims

Rock N Roll Sushi locations in Trussville, Hoover and Vestavia are collecting donations of any kind for victims of Hurricane Michael.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - A local restaurant is accepting donations in its Trussville, Hoover and Vestavia Hills locations for victims of last week's devastating hurricane. Hurricane Michael swept through the Florida Panhandle and into southeast Alabama before tearing through Georgia and the Carolinas. Hundreds of thousands of people were left without power, and the damages are expected to reach more than $1 billion.

Rock n Roll Sushi is asking people to make donations at their Birmingham area restaurants to aid the victims of the storm. The drive began Friday, Oct. 12, and has already received items such as food, toiletries and cleaning supplies, according to a report by the Trussville Tribune.

The Colonnade store opened in June, making it the third location in the Birmingham area. It is located at 3431 Colonnade Parkway, Suite 400. The Trussville restaurant is located at 5078 Pinnacle Square #106, and the Hoover store is at 4441 Creekside Ave #133.
