Man Arrested In Stolen Vehicle Faces Drug Charges

Trussville police arrested a Birmingham man in a stolen vehicle and have charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Birmingham man has been arrested in Trussville and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police. Jimmy Skovira was arrested after police say they spotted him in a stolen vehicle Friday night.

Trussville police said Skovira was arrested just after 8 p.m. Feb. 14, and was transferred to the Jefferson County Jail with a bond of $15,300.

Police said additional charges are pending.
