Missing 59-Year-Old Man Found Safe In Moody

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A missing 59-year-old man who was last spotted at PNC Bank in Trussville has been found safe In Moody. According to Birmingham police, Timothy James Posey was reported missing officially in October but has not been seen by his family in three years.

Police said Posey, who has a history of mental illness, was found Friday in Moody and is reported to be in no danger and unharmed.

"Investigators have made contact with Mr. Posey to confirm he is safe," said Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham Police Department. "The Birmingham Police Department appreciates your assistance in locating Timothy Posey."
