Pinson Domestic Violence Suspect Held Without Bond
A man who was out on bond for murder charges has been arrested in a domestic violence case in Pinson.

PINSON, AL — A man arrested in 2018 for the beating death of his first wife was arrested again in a domestic violence case in Pinson this week. Arthur Leon McKinney Jr., 44, was arrested Thursday and charged with first degree domestic violence strangulation after an altercation with his current wife, to whom he has been married for three months.
Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff's office said McKinney's wife suffered injuries to her head, eye, hand and throat and required medical treatment. She reported that the McKinney attacked her at their home in the 4000 block of Ruff Road in Pinson.
McKinney is being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail.
