Pinson Man Shot And Killed In Birmingham Hotel Room
A 33-year-old Pinson man was found shot to death in a Birmingham hotel room Thursday.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A Pinson man was shot and killed in a room at the Anchor Motel in the 8400 block of 1st Ave. North in Birmingham Thursday night. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 33-year-old Edward Dee Stewart, III.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. He said offices found the man unresponsive with gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Mauldin said no suspects are in custody as the Birmingham PD continues to investigate and find witnesses to the shooting.
