Shooting In Center Point: Victim Expected To Survive
A man shot Sunday in Center Point was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to recover.

CENTER POINT, AL — A man shot in Center Point is expected to recover from serious wounds, after a Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy found him Sunday in the 2000 block of Center Point Parkway.
Deputy Chief David Agee said a patrol deputy was flagged down by the gunshot victim just after 7 p.m. Sunday. The deputy rendered aid until paramedics arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital.
The victim did not want to disclose where or how he was shot, Agee said. Sheriff’s evidence technicians are processing the man’s vehicle and detectives are working to determine what happened.
