Shooting, Robbery Under Investigation In Pinson
A man was shot and robbed Thursday on Bearden Road in Pinson.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — The Jefferson County Sheriff's office is investigating a robbery and shooting that occurred Thursday in Pinson. The incident was reported just after 9:30 a.m. on Bearden Road.
Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff's office said the gunshot victim told deputies that he met a man near a tattoo parlor on Huffman Road in Birmingham and he agreed to give the man a ride. The victim said that while they were riding, the man assaulted him on a road off Highway 75 or Highway 79.
The victim said that the man shot him with a pistol then got out of the car and walked away. After driving to Bearden Rd., the victim called 911.

Agee said the victim described the offender as a skinny young white male wearing black clothing. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, but there is no update on his condition.
