Shots Fired Inside Trussville Walmart: Police Detain 4 People

TRUSSVILLE, AL — Four people have been detained by Trussville police after a shooting inside the Walmart on Chalkville Mountain Road. Law enforcement officials said the incident started with a dispute between two employees.

No injuries have been reported, although multiple shots were fired inside the store. A report from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the store is now safe.

Trussville Police Chief Eric Rush told the Trussville Tribune that "A female employee called her brother to come up there. He brought two other males and that’s what led to the shooting."
