Shoplifting Suspect Arrested By Trussville PD

A St. Clair County woman was arrested after police say she stole merchandise from Target in Trussville.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A 55-year-old Ragland woman was arrested Sunday after employees at the Target store in Trussville identified her as a suspect who they say stole merchandise from the store.

A Trussville Tribune report said the woman was identified as Darlene Phillips. Phillips is facing a charge of theft of property fourth degree, according to the police report. The items reported stolen were valued at $419.47.

After getting the description of the suspect from Target employees, police found Phillips at nearby TJ Maxx and arrested her. She was taken to the Trussville City Jail where she posted a $500 bond and was released.
