Sloan Harmon, Airman 1st Class of the 117th Air Refueling Wing of the Alabama Air National Guard in Birmingham, was shot near the Brompton exit in St. Clair County.

One of the suspects, a 31-year-old man, was captured just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near Camp Winnataska Road in Pell City.
