Tarrant Woman Arrested On Drug Charges
A Tarrant woman was arrested Thursday and charged with drug trafficking and carrying a pistol without a license.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A Tarrant woman was arrested Thursday on drug and firearms charges. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office charged 30-year-old Andrea Dawn Johnson with drug trafficking and carrying a pistol without a license.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said detectives found Johnson in possession of 820 grams of methamphetamine and 30 grams of heroin. During the arrest, Johnson was also found to be in possession of a firearm and more than $2,900 in currency.
Johnson is in custody at the Jefferson County Jail with bonds totaling $1,005,000.
