An online deal that turned into a robbery and a shooting has now resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - An online marketplace deal that turned into a robbery and shooting at a Trussville Burger King has resulted in three people faces charges. Two men are charged in connection with the holdup - Nicholas Stephen Freeman, 21, Cameron De'Juan Nix, 20 - and a woman, Erica Lynese White, 42, is charged for lying to police after the crime. All three are from Center Point.
The incident happened Wednesday night, according to a report by the Trussville Tribune. It stemmed from a scam originating on an online marketplace, wherein one of the suspects offered a cell phone for sale, with the intent to commit a robbery. At the parking lot, a woman was approached by Nix to show her the phone when Freeman appeared and held her at gunpoint. The woman then managed to draw her own gun and shot Freeman in the leg. Freeman was arrested after recovering from the gunshot wound at Princeton hospital. Nix remains at large.
White is being charged with obstruction of justice after she arrived at the hospital fraudulently claiming to be Freeman's mother. She is not yet in custody at this time.
