Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest In Trussville
Trussville police charged a man with drug offenses after stopping him for a switched car tag.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A traffic stop by Trussville police over the weekend led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Margaret man on multiple drug-related charges. Police stopped Roderick Williams for a switched car tag just after 10 p.m. March 22.
A report from the Trussville Police Department said a search of Williams' vehicle revealed methamphetamine, a firearm, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Williams was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was transferred to the Jefferson County Jail with bonds totaling $22,000.
