Trussville Police Officer Injured In Collision
A Trussville police officer was hospitalized after a head-on collision Thursday near Chalkville Road.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Trussville police officer was taken to the ER Thursday after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision. A report by the Trussville Tribune said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. near the intersection of North Chalkville Road and Green Drive.
"Officers were heading north on Chalkville, en route to a call, when the collision happened," Sgt. Adam Filetti told the Trussville Tribune. Filetti said the officer is expected to recover from his injuries.
