Trussville Walmart Shooting: 20-Year-Old Employee Charged
An employee of the Trussville Walmart faces multiple charges after a physical altercation escalated into shots being fired at the store.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Pinson man who was working at the Walmart on Chalkville Mountain Road now faces charges after an altercation led to shots being fired inside the store. The incident occurred Tuesday just before noon.
Christopher Harris, 20, is charged with attempted murder, second-criminal mischief and reckless endangerment for his role in the shooting, which Trussville police described as a dispute between two Walmart employees that escalated into a physical altercation, and ultimately a shooting.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but police say Harris and a female employee were arguing before the female employee called her brother to come to the store. Harris reportedly engaged in an altercation with the brother, which continued in the store parking lot.
