Vehicle Reported Stolen In South Carolina Found By Trussville PD

The Trussville Police Department recovered a vehicle last week reported stolen from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A vehicle reported stolen a month ago from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was recovered last week in Trussville, according to a Trussville Tribune report. The GMC Envoy was found in the 1100 block of North Chalkville Road Nov. 30.

Officers reportedly approached the vehicle and talked to the man sitting in the driver's seat, who told the officers he had borrowed the vehicle from a friend, the report said. Police searched the vehicle and found marijuana and arrested the man, identified as Chadwick Thomas Harris, 33, of Henderson, North Carolina.

The owner of the car told Myrtle Beach PD that Harris borrowed her car to go to the bank Nov. 2 and he never returned.
