Women Report Receiving Vulgar Messages: Police
Trussville police say multiple women have reported receiving harassing and vulgar messages from the same man.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — The Trussville Police Department says several complains have come in reporting harassing and vulgar messages sent to women from the same man. Trussville police issued a statement on the matter via social media Monday.
"We have received a large number of Facebook messages regarding a young man sending harassing and vulgar messages to women," police said. "We have been made aware of the situation and will look into it. With that being said, our Facebook page is not monitored 24/7 and is not the way to report crimes/issues."
The Trussville Police Department said anyone receiving these messages is asked to contact the non emergency line at 205-655-2101.

"If you reside outside of Trussville and wish to file a report, please do so with whatever agency services the area you live," The Trussville PD said. "Once those reports are made our investigators will work together with any other agency that receives a report to build a case."
