Alabama Falls To No. 10 In AP Coaches Poll After Loss To Texas
The Crimson Tide will remain in the Top 10 for at least another week after falling from No. 3 with a loss on Saturday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Crimson Tide fell seven spots to No. 10 in the latest Associated Press college football Top 25 Coaches Poll released on Sunday after the Tide fell 34-24 at home to No. 11 Texas.

The win for the Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian saw Texas rise in the poll to the No. 4 spot.

As Patch previously reported, the loss was the earliest for an Alabama team coached by Nick Saban and was also the first double-digit home loss of Saban's college coaching career.

Alabama will return to action on Sept. 16 when the Tide travels to Tampa for a road matchup against South Florida in Raymond James Stadium.
