Alabama Softball To Play Eight-Game Fall Schedule
The fall slate will include seven contests at Rhoads Stadium and the Sand Mountain Showdown in Albertville.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama softball team is set to warm up for the 2023 season by playing a series of fall games that will include seven contests at Rhoads Stadium and the the Sand Mountain Showdown in Albertville.

The rescheduled Sand Mountain Showdown is set for Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. against Jacksonville State in Albertville. The game was originally set for last spring, but was postponed by inclement weather conditions.

Admission for the fall slates games will be $5, with tickets sold at the gate.
Proceeds from fall softball games benefit the Bama Softball Walk-Off Club.

Here's a look at the fall schedule:
- Wednesday, Oct. 12 vs. Jacksonville State – Albertville, Ala. (Sand Mountain Showdown) – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. Georgia Tech (DH) – Tuscaloosa - 1:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 23 vs. Copiah-Lincoln (DH) – Tuscaloosa - 1:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 29 – Tuscaloosa
- Wallace State vs. Birmingham Southern – 12 p.m.
- Alabama vs. Wallace State – 2 p.m.
- Alabama vs. Birmingham Southern – 4 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 4 vs. Emory University – Tuscaloosa – 6 p.m.
