ALEA Identifies Northport Man Who Drowned Sunday At Lake Lurleen
Here's the latest as police investigate the drowning death of a 21-year-old Northport man on Sunday at the park.

NORTHPORT, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency on Monday identified a 21-year-old Northport man who drowned at Lake Lurleen State Park Sunday afternoon.

In an update to local media, ALEA said Rocael Ramos drowned while swimming, with the call coming in to dispatchers at 1:15 p.m.

ALEA then said Ramos was transported to DCH Northport, where he was pronounced dead a short time after emergency services were contacted.
The cause of the drowning remains under investigation.
