Aliceville Man Killed, Two Others Injured In Friday Crash
An Aliceville man is dead and two others hospitalized with injuries after a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Pickens County Road 2.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — An Aliceville man is dead and two others hospitalized with injuries after a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Pickens County Road 2 near Alabama Highway 14.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said that at approximately 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 40-year-old Anthony D. McCaa was killed when the 2006 Nissan Altima that he was driving collided head-on with a 2019 Toyota Tacoma driven by a Tuscaloosa County resident.

McCaa was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Tacoma and a 12-year-old passenger also suffered injuries and were hospitalized. ALEA declined to elaborate on the extent of their injuries or their current conditions.
ALEA did say, however, that neither driver was wearing their seat belts at the time of crash.

The crash occurred approximately eight miles south of Aliceville and remains under investigation.
