Holiday light strands can also be recycled on-site in clearly marked containers.

Residents looking to dispose of artificial Christmas trees are encouraged to contact local thrift stores or nonprofit organizations. Artificial trees will not be recycled through the city’s program.

During the recycling period, the city will also place a holiday garbage collection trailer and an additional cardboard recycling bin outside the Curry facility and at Verner Elementary School to help manage post-holiday waste.
