“I am very pleased to be able to work with both Walker and Huntington Place Elementary schools on these playground expansion projects," Acker told Patch on Monday. "These are true Community Development projects as they benefit the schools and the students during the school day but are also accessible to nearby families on weekends or in the summer time when school is not in session. The partnership that the County Commission has with our county school system is long standing and I think is a benefit to all our residents."
