Our Shout Out for this Saturday morning goes to Holt High School's Jordan Driver, a multi-sport athlete and do-it-all back for the Ironmen who signed on Friday to attend and play football at Birmingham Prep. The prep organization recently rebranded from Alabama Prep-Birmingham and is privately-owned.

Despite fall short in the SSAC softball championship on Friday, the Stillman Tigers softball team is still a winner in our book! The Lady Tigers finished the season with a 13-35 record and will graduate three seniors: Katie Clifton, Tayla Stowes and Cynthia White.

Junior ROTC Cadet Ashanti — a student at Hillcrest High School — who was presented the Bronze Medal Friday morning by the local chapter of The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She has earned a full scholarship to attend the University of Alabama following graduation.
