5. Lear Corporation is expanding its operations in Tuscaloosa County, with production slated to begin at the end of June, Khara Gibson-Taylor reports. The expansion is expected to lead to more than 450 new jobs. (WVUA 23 News)

- ALEA says a two-vehicle wreck south of Tuscaloosa just before midnight Monday resulted in the death of a Berry man, while a woman from Tuscaloosa was also injured. (More on Patch)
- In other traffic news, troopers were notified of a commercial vehicle crash on U.S. Interstate 59 in Greene County at approximately 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. There were no injuries in the crash, but it did temporarily close the southbound lanes.
