Homewood Suites Officially Opens In Downtown Tuscaloosa
The six-story, 114-suite hotel officially opened last week and is the latest amenity for the area's tourism sector.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Homewood Suites by Hilton officially opened in downtown Tuscaloosa on March 16, marking the latest amenity for the area's tourism sector.
The six-story, 114-suite hotel was built by Harrison Construction and is the second Tuscaloosa hotel in the Vista Host Hotel Management and Cohen Investments portfolio. Located at 2451 Jack Warner Parkway West, the new location is positioned near both downtown Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama campus.

The property was developed and is owned by Cohen Investments, while Cody Duffey, of Vista Host Hotel Management, will serve as its general manager.
“We’re pleased to bring this outstanding, high quality, all-suite lodging experience to the greater Tuscaloosa area”, Vista Host Hotel Management CEO Evan Studer said . “This hotel opening marks a milestone in Tuscaloosa and offers superior accommodation to business and leisure travelers. The hotel features multiple sought after amenities, including our restaurant."

Studer then said a bar and restaurant will be located on the top floor of the hotel and is expected to open in early April.
