Kim Harwood Named TAR Realtor Of The Year
The Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors has named Kim Harwood as its 2021 Realtor of the Year following a huge deal in April.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors (TAR) has named Kim Harwood as its 2021 Realtor of the Year, following a record-setting $3.25 million real estate deal in Tuscaloosa County in April.

A former teacher and school administrator, Harwood has only worked in the real estate sector for the last seven years. During that time, however, she has carved out a lofty place in the business, while crediting her success in part to all of the lessons she has learned along the way.

“I think the key to anyone’s success is how someone measures it," she said in a statement after receiving the honor. "For me, it’s knowing I have represented my clients well, being creative, knowing the market, having good working relationships with my fellow realtors, title companies, lenders, and staying educated and involved."
Separate from her most recent accolade, she was awarded the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors Rookie Realtor of the Year in 2016.

In 2020, she was also voted Tuscaloosa Best of the Best Realtor for 2020 in the Tuscaloosa News.
