Northport Woman Identified After Fatal Crash On Highway 43 Friday

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified a Northport woman killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 43.

NORTHPORT, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified a Northport woman killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 43.

ALEA said Saturday morning that the initial call came in around 5:23 p.m. after a 2019 Ford Edge driven by Alisa J. Swindle, 59, collided head-on with the 2015 Dodge Charger.

Swindle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
