Saban Center Appoints LaPish To Director Of Development

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Saban Center Director Audrey Buck on Monday has appointed Brandt LaPish as the center's director of development.

Monday marks her first day on the job, according to a press release from The Saban Center.

“We are so thrilled to welcome Brandt to the team,” Buck said. “Her skills, experience, and previous work in our community make her a perfect fit for this role as we work to make the Saban Center vision a reality for Tuscaloosa.”

LaPish has a Masters Degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Alabama and most recently served as the Director of Development for the DCH Foundation. She has also worked in development and communications in Washington, D.C., San Diego, and Dallas, in a variety of industries including non-profit, commercial real estate, fast-casual restaurants, sports marketing, and tourism.

LaPish also serves as a member of the Tuscaloosa Rotary Club and served as the president of the Junior League in 2017. In 2016, LaPish was a member of the Leadership Tuscaloosa class.

The Saban Center then said LaPish, her husband Ben and their son live in Tuscaloosa.

The over 100,000-square-foot Saban Center, located in the former Tuscaloosa News building across from the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Jack Warner Parkway, will aim to bring together the Children's Hands-On Museum (CHOM), the Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre, and a community black-box theater as part of a public-private partnership made possible in large part by the generosity of Nick and Terry Saban.

Construction on the building for the Saban Center is expected to start in 2023.
