Sellers went on to explain that witnesses physically described the suspect leaving the scene in a vehicle belonging to one of the victims.

The suspect was identified as a 30-year-old Devin Martez Quinzy, who investigators made contact with by phone in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

Sellers said Quinzy turned himself in to the police in the parking lot of a business on Highway 69 South Saturday night.

He then said 66-year-old Mitchell Lewis, of Tuscaloosa, died at the hospital as a result of his injuries from the the shooting. The second victim who died Sunday morning has not been publicly identified.

"There is no evidence of an argument prior to the shooting," Sellers said. " Mr. Quinzy is related to the victim who is still at DCH.

Quinzy was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charges of murder and attempted murder, with his bond yet to be set by a judge.
