Tide Women's Basketball Duo Snags SEC Postseason Honors

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Southeastern Conference office on Tuesday announced a pair of postseason awards for two Crimson Tide women's basketball standouts.

As part of the honors, Brittany Davis was named First Team All-SEC, while Hannah Barber honored was selected as the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The award marks the second all-conference honor for Davis, after being selected a second team recipient during the 2021 season. She is the 20th Alabama player to receive first-team honors and the second to do so in past three years after Jasmine Walker earned the distinction in 2021.
Barber also became one of only two Alabama athletes in program history to be named the league's Scholar-Athlete of the Year, following Jordan Lewis becoming the first in 2020.
