TPD Says Third Person Dies After Sept. 30 Crash In Cottondale
A third person has died following a head-on collision in Cottondale during the early morning hours of Sept. 30.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A third person has died from injuries sustained in a crash a little more than a week ago at Wildwood Trace and University Boulevard East in the early morning hours of Sept. 30.

Brookwood resident Mary Hagadorn, 35, was an occupant of a Chevrolet S10 involved in the crash that saw the deaths of two other occupants of the pickup truck.

Patch previously reported that two people were pronounced dead at the scene, while Hagadorn and the driver of a Nissan Sentra were transported for hospitalization.
TPD said the driver of the Nissan Sentra, a 33-year-old man, remained hospitalized at UAB as of
Thursday with serious injuries. However, he is expected to survive.

Patch also reported when the other two victims were identified as Marty Dale Green, 40, and Ashley Denise Stewart, 35 — both residents of Northport.
