Tuscaloosa Academy Hosting Football Jamboree Friday Night
The Tuscaloosa Academy Knights will host several schools on Friday in an pre-season football jamboree ahead of the 2021 season.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Academy Knights and first-year football coach Josh Wright are set to host a preseason jamboree Friday night that will feature several teams.
The first game will kick off at 6 p.m. tonight. The Knights will host Chamber Academy, Jackson Academy and Bessemer Academy — Wright's former team who he coached for 15 years, leading to four state titles.
The Knights will look to improve from a 2-8 campaign in 2021, and will open the season on Thursday, Aug. 19 against Autauga Academy.
