Hillcrest, Northridge Tennis Stars Selected For North-South All-Star Team
Here's a look at the local tennis standouts who will compete at the AHSAA's annual North-South Tennis All-Star Competition in July.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Two Tuscaloosa area high school tennis stars and a pair of coaches have been selected to represent Tuscaloosa in the 2022 North-South All-Star Sports Week hosted by Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association.

Hillcrest High's Elliott Armstrong and Northridge High's Channing Vick were both selected for the North Girls Tennis All-Star Team, with the rosters announced on Thursday.

The 12-member teams will be comprised of 2023 rising seniors who were nominated by member school coaches in the Alabama High School Athletic Association.
Hillcrest girls tennis coach Brian Peirano will be on the coaching staff for the North Girls Team, while Hillcrest boys tennis coach Brad Armstrong will be on the staff for the boys team.

The AHSAA Summer Conference, which will feature the North-South All-Star Tennis competitions, is annually attended by more than 4,000 coaches and administrators and will be held July 18-22.
