Tuscaloosa County Deputies Arrest Man In Northport After Pursuit

NORTHPORT, AL — A suspect has been taken into custody following a short pursuit that ended off U.S. Highway 43 Monday morning.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Jessica McDaniel told Patch that 34-year-old Korey Patrick refused to stop when signaled to by TCSO deputies and exited the vehicle before being taken into custody near Hicks BBQ.

Patrick has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, attempting to elude and possession of drug paraphernalia.
