The attorney general did not comment on the specifics of where Green was employed.
"Green had been employed by the facility for 18 years," Marshall said. "The matter was investigated by the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, after a referral from the Alabama Department of Public Health. The investigation determined that, between January 2023 and September 2025, Green stole at least $3,500 from 25 residents."

Green was booked in to the Tuscaloosa County Jail and was released after bond was set at $5,000.
