Sellers then said when police arrived at the apartment complex, they found a 44-year-old male with a gunshot wound laying in the street near Building 58.

"Investigators interviewed witnesses who described an altercation between the victim and a female who later was identified as Talina Howze, a 40-year-old female, during which Howze pulled a gun and fired at the victim multiple times," Sellers said. " At this time there is no indication of a prior relationship between Howze and the victim."

Sellers said Howze was charged with attempted murder and her bond was set at $60,000.
