This year's installment marks the event's 23rd year and Tate said it is arguably the longest-running endurance event in Tuscaloosa.

The Hot Hundred was established in 2003 as Tuscaloosa’s century ride, with the goal of raising funds through sponsorships and registration fees to support United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of West Alabama and its myriad programs.
