According to a press release from Hamlin's office, Lazaro Moran, 35, of New Jersey, will serve two life sentences and Lindettia Lowery, 36, of Fairfield, will serve two concurrent 25-year sentences.

Hamlin said both pleaded guilty Friday to murder in the shooting deaths of Hernan Antonio Padilla and Allen Clifford Sandlin. What's more he said the two sentences follow a guilty plea from Michael Even Council entered in July.

Padilla, 55, and Sandlin, 56, were found shot to death at Padilla’s home outside Carbon Hill on May 1, 2018. Murder charges were then filed again Lowery, Moran, Council and two other defendants.

Hamlin said capital murder cases against Brandon Dewayne Lowery and Brittany Bell-Spates are still pending in the 24th Judicial Circuit Court.

“I’m pleased we were able to put two more violent offenders in prison for this heinous crime,” Hamlin said. “We will continue to work until all five of those responsible face justice.”
