The Violent Crimes Unit says witnesses first called 911 at 9:13 p.m. to report that a man had been struck by gunfire at the park, which is located at 701 Kicker Road.
As Patch previously reported, this was several hours after the Albert Community Unity Day had formally wrapped up in the park.

Investigators said there was a large crowd of people at the park during the time of the shooting and many witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots fired from multiple weapons.
The victim reportedly told police he was standing with a group of people when he heard shots and began to run, before being hit by gunfire while in the parking lot near the park's restrooms.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department said the first patrol officer on the scene provided medical assistance until Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue paramedics arrived and transported the victim to DCH Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Despite the lack of suspects in custody, TPD says it had received two reports as of Monday from individuals who found bullet damage to their vehicles that were park in the area and unoccupied at the time.
