West Alabama Chamber, Execs Earn Industry Distinctions
The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce and two of its executives recently earned honors from the Accredited Alabama Chamber of Commerce

TUSCALOOSA, AL. — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama was recently named among nine other similar entities to receive the Accredited Alabama Chamber of Commerce (AACC) distinction. The distinction, which was announced by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA) on Tuesday, recognizes chambers of commerce that have achieved high standards while offering guidelines for those to improve their effectiveness.
The CCAA says the program examines six core areas: Organization, Mission Focus, Professional Administration, Financial Management, Communications, and Advocacy.
Additionally, West Alabama Chamber President and CEO Jim Page and Chief Operating Officer Donny Jones were among eight Alabama chamber professionals to also earn the Accredited Alabama Chamber Executive (AACE) distinction.
