• Red Lobster continues to downsize: Here's full list of closed locations, according to a recent report (silive.com) — Red Lobster has permanently closed its Vestavia Hills restaurant at 1030 Montgomery Highway as part of a nationwide downsizing tied to bankruptcy and financial struggles. The chain has now shuttered more than 150 locations since 2024, including additional Alabama and out-of-state sites, as it tries to stabilize under new ownership.
