1. Town of FOUNTAIN HILLS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. in the Town Council Chambers located at 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, Arizona, the … (fhtimes.com) — Fountain Hills officials are considering rezoning a 3.22‑acre site at Saguaro Boulevard and Paul Nordin Parkway to allow hotel rooms to be converted into residential units, and they want your input. A Planning & Zoning hearing is set for Oct. 12, followed by a Town Council hearing Nov. 17, both at Town Hall, with proposal details available at the Planning & Zoning Office.
   

2. Fountain Hills council member seeks ban of license plate reading cameras (fhtimes.com) — A Fountain Hills councilmember is pushing for an ordinance that would prohibit license plate reading cameras in town, even though none are currently installed. Allen Skillicorn has asked to work with the town attorney on draft language, with several council colleagues supporting bringing the proposal back as a future agenda item residents can follow and weigh in on.
   

3. Lobos take down the Falcons, 55-7 (tribunenewsnow.com) — Fountain Hills' football team managed a lone fourth-quarter touchdown in a tough 55-7 road loss to Snowflake, dropping the Falcons to 0-4. The Lobos dominated early with a huge first half and strong rushing attack, while Fountain Hills avoided a shutout but couldn't slow Snowflake's balanced offense.
   

4. Fountain Hills kids market spotlights young entrepreneurs (fhtimes.com) — Fountain Hills families can check out a special kids market at the Fall Fountain Hills Farmers Market on Sept. 26, where more than 30 local young entrepreneurs will sell their handmade creations. Held 8–11:30 a.m. at Tractor Supply on Shea Boulevard, the event gives children ages five to sixteen a chance to pitch, market, and sell directly to neighbors.
