Phoenix police and fire crews extricated the victim, while the second driver was hospitalized with lesser injuries and taken into custody on suspicion of DUI as the investigation continues.

Arizona nonprofit A New Leaf provides free meals to children in need (fox10phoenix.com) — Families in Phoenix and across Arizona facing higher food costs and reduced SNAP benefits can get free, nutritious meals for their young children through the nonprofit A New Leaf. By integrating a federal food program into its early learning and family centers, the group now provides breakfasts, lunches, and snacks so parents worry less and kids get healthier starts.
