Tucson motorcyclist dead after crashing into protective street barrier (kold.com) — An 80-year-old motorcyclist died Friday night after hitting a raised traffic barrier on East Winsett Street on Tucson's east side, despite traveling at the posted 25 mph limit and wearing a helmet. Tucson police say the impact with the chicane and resulting loss of control caused the crash, and the investigation into the fatal collision is still ongoing.
