13-Year-Old Buys Vending Machine On eBay To Pursue Business Dreams

"My school really inspired me to do it because they really encouraged entrepreneurial thinking," 13-year-old Crosby Wills told ABC 10.

PLACER COUNTY, CA — A 13-year-old with an entrepreneurial streak is running a vending machine out of his local laundromat, according to ABC 10.

Crosby Wills, a student at Acton Academy Placer, bought the machine on eBay and is selling beverages at the Country Tubs Launderette in Loomis, the station reported.

“My school really inspired me to do it because they really encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, and it made me want to research passive income in ways that I can make my own money,” Wills told ABC 10.

Wills said he chose the laundromat because it was newly remodeled and neighbored his family’s PO Box, according to ABC 10.
