From The Air: Photo Of The Day
A flight here in California produced this stunning shot.
OAKLAND, CA — Rex Casey snapped this breathtaking photo last week. "I flew from Oakland to Burbank," Rex told Patch, "and as we were descending above The Grapevine Mountains towards Burbank the sunrise just caught the tips of the snow capped peaks. I looked out the window just in time to catch the view and the unique shot. Lucky timing but also amazing that so much snow is in these hills in mid March!"
