Alameda County Distirct Attorney Nancy E. O'Malley and the entire staff of the District Attorney's Office condemn the attack on Ersie Joyner, a former Oakland Police Captain who was senselessly attacked and shot while being robbed. The DA's Office has worked closely with Captain Joyner over his years at OPD and most recently, through CEASEFIRE. We continue to pray for his full recovery and our thoughts are with his family, who have our full support.
