Alameda Health System Honors Employee Service at Sixth Annual Recognition Dinner

A total of 263 employees were honored for their dedicated service at the Annual Employee Awards Banquet.

Alameda Health System (AHS) has announced that a total of 263 employees were honored for their dedicated service at the Annual Employee Awards Banquet, which took place on September 5, 2014. The recognized employees have given a remarkable 7,859 years of collective service to AHS.

“Our dedicated employees have created an environment at AHS that continually enhances the patient experience, while also encouraging innovation, growth and high achievement,” said Wright L. Lassiter, III, Chief Executive Officer of AHS. “I am honored to work alongside so many care experts who are focused on world-class treatment that is patient-centered and compassionate. I extend my sincere thanks on behalf of the organization for the ongoing commitment of our people in service to the diverse East Bay community.”

Each honoree was presented with a certificate and a distinctive “star” pin denoting their length of service, which ranged from 20 to more than 40 years. Among those honored were Donna Gonzales and Beverly Jew, each with 40 years of service to AHS.
