Alameda Home Damaged By Fire
Firefighters battled the Sunday morning blaze for almost an hour.

ALAMEDA, CA — An Alameda home in the 1300 block of Clinton Avenue was seriously damaged by fire Sunday morning. No injuries were reported.
According to the Alameda Fire Department, the roaring blaze was reported around 6 a.m.
It took firefighters just under an hour to bring the fire under control. The department sent 4 engines, 2 trucks, 1 rescue unit, 1 mobile crisis unit, 1 medic ambulance, and 2 chief officers to the fire.

The Oakland Fire Department provided coverage while the aggressive response was mounted.
There was extensive fire and smoke damage throughout the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
